Recipe: Thalipeeth Using Phondaghat Thalipeeth Bhajni
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Phondaghat Thalipeeth Bhajni
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 small tomato, finely chopped (optional)
- 1-2 green chilies, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh coriander leaves, chopped
- 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
- Salt, to taste
- Water, as needed
- Ghee or oil, for cooking
Instructions:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the Thalipeeth Bhajni with chopped onion, tomato, green chilies, coriander leaves, sesame seeds, and salt.
- Gradually add water to the mixture, kneading it into a firm dough. The dough should be soft but not sticky.
- Divide the dough into small balls (about the size of a lemon).
- Place a ball of dough between two plastic sheets or on a clean cloth and press it with your fingers to form a round, flat disc about 1/4 inch thick.
- Heat a skillet or tawa over medium heat and grease it lightly with ghee or oil.
- Place the Thalipeeth on the hot tawa and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crisp.
