This Raw Mango Chutney is a traditional Maharashtrian recipe. Alphonso Mangoes from Devgad is regarded as the king of all Mangoes. They have a distinct shape, colour, fragrance, and taste. Unlike any other mangoes, Devgad Alphonso or traditionally known as Devgad Hapus, and have a huge fan following among mango lovers.
Even when unripe or raw, Devgad mangoes have a distinct texture and taste to it. And for this recipe we collected the freshest batches from our own farms. We add our magical spices and organic jaggery, and cook it till perfection. It is similar to a fruit marmalade, however, it is less sweet, making it the perfect treat for the calorie conscious. We made sure that the taste of this chutney is all mango and less of the sweetener.
