I have been eating your Amla candy since the last about 6 months. Its the best tasting Amla candy which I have found…not too sweet and at the same time the Amla’s are tender and quite soft/chewy…just the right texture and taste for me. I have eaten other brands Amla candy also, but I find yours the best one.

I purchased Phondaghat Amla candy from Dmart online,Phondaghat amla candy is actually different in taste compared to all the amla candy I tasted till date…the texture is moist compared to dry texture of other amla candy available in market.
Just want to know the reason why is Phondaghat amla moist in texture compared to dry one available in market

  Yes, there could be chances that you’ll find Phondaghat Amla Candy moist. There are many factors to consider for the same – Amla’s Hygroscopic Nature, it retains moisture even after processing. Also, as compared to the other we do not overheat the amla because it not only hardens the candy but also compromises the nutrition value of the fruit. We try to keep the candy as soft as we can, as majority of our amla candy customers are senior citizens.
  Our Amla Candy was a traditional family recipe that we brought to the market. We are actively working on newer packing and processing methods to improve on the taste and texture of the candy.

Today I purchased this item from dmart. it is the worst Amla candy I hv ever tasted.i got it for 70 rs. N my money wasted.
My kids spat it.i had heard about phondaghat n this is the first tm I tried phondaghat product.

However, we try our best to pick the freshest batches from around the country, which results into the taste of the amla product vary in every batch.

I have been visiting this place since 2018. I never seen a company who educate their customers first and then assist them buying. The management is receptive and open for suggestions. My favorite take away apart from honey is bubbly a kokum beverage. Must try..
